Alan Tracy is the youngest of the five Tracy brothers in the fictional 1960s British science-fiction television series, Thunderbirds, and its subsequent adaptations.

He is the pilot of Thunderbird 3, the spacecraft responsible for space rescues. Alan is characterized as energetic, impulsive, and often eager to prove himself, sometimes leading to reckless behavior.

Prior to his full-time role with International Rescue, Alan attended Denver University where he excelled in mathematics and physics, and also had a burgeoning interest in auto racing. This racing background makes him a skilled pilot.

In the original series, Alan's character provides youthful enthusiasm and humor within the otherwise serious context of the rescue operations. He is often paired with his older brother Scott, balancing Scott's maturity with Alan's youthful exuberance.

His primary function within International Rescue is to act as the organization's space expert and carry out rescues that are beyond the means of regular land vehicles.
